Bathroom Remake

I spent most of last week finally getting something done that's been on my list for months. The hall bath was long overdue for an update, with its original wallpaper I put up 15 plus years ago when we built the house. I had actually already taken down the shower curtain when it occurred to me that I should take some "before" pics -- that accounts for the tie-backs lying in floor!

. . . this was BEFORE

and here's the AFTER

Here's a close-up of the stamped images. It's a Stampin Up set called Organic Outlines. I love StampinUp! I love my consultant, Jennifer Hunt. She makes it fun.

I'm happy - it's new and refreshed and wow, does it feel good to have that accomplished! Don't ask how long ago I bought the paint. :)

Hey Janis, I love the bathroom! It inspires me to try to do some stuff around here that I've been putting off. I took a sick day today to try to get over a cold that won't seem to let up and I decided to try commenting on your blog page. I was going to try to register to win the fabric for you but when they said I had to comment on what inspires me to sew, well... ps I saw the clock in the bathroom too - cool!! L

Great REDO! Love your colors. Isn't amazing what paint can do for a space!?

So pretty! I love that color blue! My bathrooms are all on the spring/summer list of makeovers, hope I do as good a job as you!

Love your bathroom remake! You've chosen a gorgeous colour and have done a fantastic job. Looks very swish! Ok then, I'll not ask how long ago you bought the paint ;) It sometimes takes a little while to get around to doing things. I understand that. I have a gazillion little projects that need doing but I'm waiting for inspiration to coming knocking on my door.

...still waiting...waiting... ;D

Congrats on getting such a project accomplished. It redo looks great and I really like the idea of using the stamps to add that stenciled look.
